First day – Monday – Cape Town
Departure for South Africa with an international scheduled flight. Dinner and overnight on board.
Second day – Tuesday – Cape Town
Arrival in Cape Town and transfer to central Cape Town Hollow Boutique Hotel. Once checked in you can spend the rest of the day visiting the Waterfront, the harbour area that was transformed into a major tourist attraction. Overnight.
Third day – Wednesday – Cape Town
Breakfast. Tour with a local guide. During the morning you will visit the picturesque harbour of Hout Bay, where you can enjoy a short cruise by boat to nearby Seal Island, before continuing to the Nature Reserve Cape of Good Hope. On the way back you will visit a colony of cute penguins. Overnight.
Fourth day – Thursday – Cape Town
Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore the historical centre of the city, visit the Castle, the characteristic market of Greenmarket Square and the interesting South African Museum. The day will conclude with a spectacular tea and pastries at the exclusive Mount Nelson Hotel, once the splendid residence of the famous English admiral. Overnight.
Day Five – Friday – Cape Town
Breakfast. Tour with a local guide to the town of Stellenbosch and its interesting “Museum Village.” Followed by a tasty snack and tasting of fine wines in a historic Cape Wine Company in the area. Overnight.
Day Six – Saturday – Cape Town / Johannesburg
Breakfast. Morning at leisure for optional activities, such as climbing Table Mountain, hike or take a speedboat trip to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner for many years. In the afternoon transfer to airport for internal flight to OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg. Transfer via the hotel’s shuttle to the nearby Metcourt Hotel. Once checked in you will have time to explore this small but interesting, “Las Vegas” of South Africa. Overnight.
Seventh day – Sunday – Phalaborwa
Breakfast and transfer by road to the historic village of Pilgrim’s Rest, a national monument. Visit the village followed by a tasty snack of traditional “pancakes.” In the early afternoon you will continue to Phalaborwa, visiting the interesting Bourke’s Luck Potholes and some sights along the “Panorama Route”. Arrive late afternoon at the exclusive private villa on the Hans Merensky Hotel & Golf Estate. Dinner and overnight.
Eighth day – Monday – Phalaborwa
Breakfast and guided tour of the north-central part of the Kruger National Park. Picnic in the Park. Back to Phalaborwa in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Ninth Day – Tuesday – Phalaborwa
Breakfast. Morning at leisure for optional activities. In the early afternoon you will participate in an interesting cruise on the Olifants river, which is full of hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight.
Tenth day – Wednesday – Phalaborwa
Breakfast and guided tour of central-southern part of the Kruger National Park. Picnic in the Park. Back to Phalaborwa in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Eleventh day – Thursday – Phalaborwa / Kapama
Breakfast and transfer by road to the Private Reserve Edeni. After lunch, take part in an exciting safari in open 4×4 safari vehicle. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge in the Reserve
